They always say “People are more attractive when they’re funny.” In that case, I think Sir Charles Chaplin is the most attractive man of his time. And he did so a midst the depressing days of WWI.
Having come from a poor family background and becoming one of the world’s most famous comedians to this day, Chaplin is the very picture of the “rags to riches”story. And he gave the new image for comedy and pantomiming that modern-day comedians should thank for.
Also, how can you NOT look at those eyes and love him?
